Pupil development in a positive learning environment
SMDB Notter-Zuna is a Protestant Christian primary school in Notter, Netherlands where there is every opportunity for pupils to develop their skills in a pleasant environment.
The physical learning environment of this school is where every child feels acknowledged and is encouraged to be positively engaged with one another. An environment where everybody works together and where everyone feels at home. This is where you will find peace, space and attention as well as good education and daycare. The interior of the physical learning environment is one of the key elements of this premise.
The study plaza is a joy for both pupils and teachers. Its interior design is inspiring and functional. It contains a library, instruction corner, comfortable seating, group table setups and a nice wall Visual that adds to the atmosphere of the area. Overall the space is nicely balanced.
The interior of the office is very practical with its Inline cabinet wall desk setup and meeting table, as well as a beautiful wall Visual which adds another dimension to the space as it does at the study plaza. The workspace is home to Frameworks houses where pupils can work on assignments independently or join other pupils at the group table with semi-circular stools and benches.

‘GISPEN-PRESIKHAAF SCHOOL FURNITURE TRANSLATED OUR EDUCATIONAL VISION INTO THE INTERIOR DESIGN’
A pleasant former experience with Gispen-Presikhaaf School Furniture and its educational furnishing specialist at my previous school is what prompted me to contact them again when we started refurnishing Notter-Zuna.
We needed mobile furniture with a fresh look so we could be flexible when forming groups. Creating a pleasant atmosphere as well as having ample space for inviting workstations for pupils to use individually.
One of the added benefits of working with Gispen-Presikhaaf School Furniture is that we can contribute to this organisation's corporate social responsibility. We also appreciate their clever solutions and their flexible attitude. We are very satisfied with the quality of the furniture and the service they provided during the implementation phase of the project.
