NOMI High bar stool is part of the NOMI chair collection, designed by Just Meijer for Gispen. All NOMI chairs carry the same universal shell, a specially designed bucket seat with a high level of comfort and made from 40% recycled plastic. The different frames are suitable for different activities.
The Nomi bar stool makes sitting high off the ground a real adventure. The slender wire frame gives the stool a light-footed appearance. The comfortable seat makes the stool suitable to sit on for long periods of time. Nomi High comes with a 65 or 75 cm high frame.
90% recycled shell
The plastic shell of NOMI already consists of 40% recycled materials as standard. The extra sustainable shell consists of no less than 90% recycled material.

It is due to its special design that the cover can be fitted or removed in a single action.
ADD A COVER FOR EXTRA COMFORT
By not gluing the cover onto the seat, NOMI is easily transformed from a plastic chair into an upholstered chair.
The cover comes in a variety of fabrics. The inside is lined with a thin layer of foam for a more comfortable seat and backrest.

Sustainability
Gispen believes firmly in its circular model, which is why we already took account of returns and reuse of components and materials when we designed Nomi. Gispen stands for high-quality products and takes responsiblity for their entire lifespan, while reducing waste production for as far as possible. When a product is at the end of its lifecycle, we give it a new function or refurbish it into a product that is as good as new.
Make Nomi even more sustainable and opt for a durable fabric. We work with many fabric suppliers, of which some use hemp-based or recycled plastic materials.

Very sustainable
The shell of NOMI is made through ‘co-injection’ technology and is unique in its structure and compound: it consists standard of 40% recycled materials, the remainder of a new thermo-plastic polymer. This makes Nomi highly UV resistant, but also allows for easy cleaning. The more sustainable shell consists even of 90% recycled materials. The chairs with cover come with this shell as standard, but this chair is also available without a cover and is a real eye-catcher with a good story to tell.
