Dombo by Richard Hutten is a joyful cup with big ears as handles. The large ears are a reference to the human ear, the only body part that continues to grow your entire life. Where did you get your inspiration from for the Dombo cup design?

RICHARD HUTTEN

I was inspired by my son Abel, who was two years old at the time. I got the fantastic idea to design a cup that was as big as he was. Drinking from the ridiculously large cup causes a dramatic effect. Besides the obvious fact that the cup is an ergonomic novelty, its most important feature must be the smiles it gets when people see it.
