Universal design

Our drawer pedestals are universally applicable to any Gispen furniture collection. All pedestals are provided with castors of various sizes and are therefore rollable. They are equipped as standard with flush front panels with integrated handles. A counterweight has been added to the rear in order to prevent the unit from tilting forwards.

Properly tested

The drawer slides are fully telescopic and are completely enclosed to prevent the running gear grease from getting out and to not leave any sharp edges inside the drawer unit. There is also a drawer lock that prevents multiple drawers to be opened at the same time. All our drawer units have been properly tested and are EN 14073 (construction stability and strength) and EN 14074 (strength and durability of the moving parts) certified.

Every drawer unit comes with a pen drawer as standard. A handy place for all your knick-knacks.

Sustainability

We already took account of future returns and reuse of components and materials when we designed Pedestal. Gispen takes responsiblity for the entire lifespan of its products. We will take back your Pedestal product when it has reached the end of its lifespan, after we will give it a new lease of life.
