This is how we shape higher education
A well-designed educational environment inspires and gives positive energy. Students and teachers enjoy working and learning there and get the best out of themselves and each other. Our designers contribute to this. For example, by basing their design on the type of training. After all, a creative education requires a different set-up than that of a technical education. What always comes back in every educational environment: enough self-study places, meeting rooms, lecture halls and of course an attractive canteen.
An educational institute is so much more than a building.
FLEXIBLE EDUCATION
Students, lecturers and education support staff come together to study, work (together), meet and grow. Classical education is therefore increasingly making way for flexible education: learning how and where you want. The working methods vary: lectures, tutorials, independent assignments, duo or group assignments. And of course hybrid teaching formats; with the laptop in class. Students are given plenty of room for research and project-based work. And teachers switch smoothly between teaching and coaching. In the educational environment, there is an eye for health, for example with a health and safety responsible design, the offer in the canteen and by stimulating exercise.

EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT HIGHER EDUCATION
In order to learn and teach well, students and teachers need diversity in spaces. Spaces that match what they want to do there. Where they feel fit – physically and mentally – where they are inspired and energized. As an educational designer, we therefore take into account the various subjects and (learning) activities in our designs, such as classroom instruction, working together in small and large groups, working individually and working under supervision. In our school facilities you will find the classroom bus setup, project-based group setups, theater setup and a lab setup. This way you get a tailor-made educational environment that suits your organization, students, lecturers and education support staff.
FLIP THE CLASSROOM: REVERSE LEARNING
The flipped classroom is a trend in education. With this form of education, the lesson and homework are reversed. Students study (online) the explanation and instructions in advance in their own time. During the lesson or working group there is room for deepening, enrichment, practice, discussion and answering questions. Our designers take this new concept into account in their designs. For example, through smart combinations of movable and adaptable furniture. Think of tables with wheels or tables that serve as a whiteboard when folded.
