STUDY PLAZAS
The island seating arrangements at the study plazas will immediately catch your eye, with large trees and colourful leaves that continue up to the ceiling. These leaves also have an acoustic function. The children can relax alone or together around the tree trunk.
The study plazas have been designed in a playful way and encourage the children to either work together or on their own. The plazas have a welcoming feel to them and allow the children to choose a spot of their own preference; at the table, on a playfully-designed sofa or in a corner where they can really feel at home, also during after-school care. The large trees introduce a piece of nature to the interior and are true eye-catchers, providing an extra dimension to the 'Nature' theme.
CABINETS
The fact that the interior of the Child Centre is fully coherent becomes apparent when you walk from a study plaza into a classroom. The diversity of the various seating arrangements of the study plaza is also reflected in the layout of all the classrooms, which is quite unique. Whether you want to work on assignments with a group of six, in smaller groups or on your own, it's all possible. The pupils can also sit at high tables along the wall or at round tables on high stools, which are very comfortable. This dynamic interior gives pupils the freedom to choose a spot that suits their type of assignment or simply because they want to take a break. And the teacher has ample room to move freely through the classrooms and study plazas.
The study plazas and classrooms on the 1st floor feature large group tables with castors for mobility. An ideal solution for an educational space that needs to be versatile with enough room to move around. The children can choose a study area of their preference and can bring their own personalised tray and place it under the piece of furniture. The tables allow them to sit on either side.
The teachers' workstations have not gone unnoticed either, with ergonomic chairs and desks that are at the same height as those for the pupils.
