SBO de Welle is a school for special primary education in the Almelo region of the Netherlands. The school aims to create a future-proof learning environment, driven by their core values: respect, safety and responsibility. The interior design of the auditorium is perfectly in line with the educational vision of the school. It is spacious, features several seating areas and has a calming colour scheme. Pupils and teachers take centre stage in this area. It is a safe and pleasant meeting place with its various seating areas, such as the FrameWorks houses and clustered coach seats.
The black frames of the furniture items give the interior a sturdy and industrial feel. Shades of blue and green add warmth to the environment.
The auditorium has been designed in such a way that everybody has freedom to learn, work, confer or just meet up. The FrameWorks desks are ideal for working on an assignment in pairs or individually, for example. The green coach seats and column tables add a playful touch and make it a sought-after spot in the auditorium.
